Sit to Stand

The Ik to Fk is very noticeable. Hand slide off of knee as if it has no friction. More over lap, and follow through of the back will help enhance the animation by giving the animation a more believable movement.

Critique Classmate Dicaro

Very smooth arches. Excellent timing. All parts of the body overlap and follow through which gives the character a cartoony, but believable movements. Maybe modeling the background will enhance the story. Needs to animated the fingers, and arm at the end of his animation.

Animation3, Lift

Too floaty. When moving back, legs move too slow when it should be speeding up due to the force of gravity and box. Hands need to animate when she is looking left and right. Animate more to finish the story.

Animation3, Pace

Walks too robotically. Hand tend to jerk, when moving forward. Turn is too quick. Need pause or a longer period of time is need when norman’s stomach is up set. Knee is piping and jumpy. He move like he is still in linear mode. Needs smoother arches in movement.

Animation3, Walk cycle

Not enough overlap and follow through.Every part of normans body seems to try to move at the same time. Knees seem to pop often. Body move too robotically. He appears to be stoping on the floor instead of walking. Arms seem to snap as his arms move foward.

wood carving

P1130965

In this wood carving project, we learned how to become committed to a plan or designed plan. I made a human leaf women for my design. The class spend a week at the green house looks for a design for the wood carving.  At first when I was carving, I wanted to change my idea, but didn’t because changing the design means giving up on goals. If we can’t create what we desire, what is the point of designing.

The lines that are created the illusion of the hair twisting around the women are the vines which represent her hair. The concept is nature is raped all around us. No matter how crazy our ideas or hoes original our characters are, every thing comes from nature.
